    CTC 2018 Highlights

Creation To Consummation – Malaysia's only dedicated Biblical Theology conference

CTC is a conference held over 4 nights designed to help busy Christians read the Bible across its entire message of salvation. Learning to read the Bible with the unity of its message found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a vital skill and duty for every Christian, and for the health of the church in Malaysia.

    A Biblical Theology of Obedience

As Christians, we boast in the glorious truth that we are justified by grace through faith in Christ alone. But what place does obedience to God's word have in the life of the justified Christian?

The place of works in the Christian life is an issue that has been a battleground since the time of the Reformation. In every generation of believers, there seems to be a perennial tension in the Gospel-Law relationship that is arguably caused by the transition from the Old Covenant to the New.

Yet, it is undeniable that all throughout Scripture, from Adam to Noah, to Abraham, to Moses and the people of Israel, obedience to God's word has been the calling for all God's people and the sanctity of life depends on it. And no one as exemplified this more than the God-man, Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, whose perfect obedience is the basis of our salvation. And this is the gospel that leads to a spirit-transformed life of obedience, which is faith's proper fruits (Rom 13:1-7, Rom 6:16-23).

Hence, knowing that a solid doctrine of justification and sanctification is the foundation and health of Christ's church, it is the aim of the conference this year to deal carefully with these doctrines in a biblical theology fashion. Dr. Bradley Green will show how vital it is to live a life of obedience without detracting from the glorious doctrine of justification by faith.

    CTC: Behind The Scenes (BTS)

CTC BTS gives all conference participants a chance to go 'Behind The Scenes' with the teacher and interact further on how to do Biblical Theology. It complements the night talks in a workshop format so that participants can go deeper into the methodology and learn to handle the biblical material for themselves.

Anyone keen on applying the learning at CTC to their ministries including pastors, ministry leaders or anyone involved in teaching should come.

Saturday is the climax of CTC as Dr Bradley Green will be bringing together all we have learnt about obedience into practical application and building healthy churches. Over a short talk and a Q&A session, participants will get the chance to learn how biblical theology is helpful to life, ministry and church.
