  • Intro

Creation to Consummation – our conference dedicated to Biblical Theology is back!

Creation to Consummation (CTC) is a city conference designed to help busy Christians read the Bible across its entire message of salvation. Biblical Theology is all about learning to read the Bible with the unity of its message found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is a vital skill and duty for every Christian, and essential for the health of the Church in Malaysia.

    Dominion and Dynasty

For this year's CTC, we will explore the necessity of a people and place in the unfolding of God's kingdom throughout the Scriptures. Dr. Dempster will offer a series of talks exploring the theological shape of the kingdom, taking us from the Old Testament to its fulfilment in Christ. Come and be equipped to read, teach, and live the Bible as one glorious, united story of God's dominion and dynasty!

    CTC: Night Talks

The 4 Night Talks are the main event of CTC, where Dr. Dempster will be answering the all-important questions about the Bible and its message. Does the Bible tell a unified story or is it a ragbag of disconnected and unrelated stories? Dr. Dempster will take us through the biblical storyline and focus on God’s purposes for mankind to rule as His servants on earth!

    CTC: Behind The Scenes (BTS)

CTC:BTS gives conference participants a chance to go “Behind The Scenes” with the teacher in interactive workshops on how to do Biblical Theology. The 3 workshops complement the Night Talks, allowing participants to delve into the teacher’s methodology and learn to handle the biblical material for themselves.

Anyone keen on applying the content at CTC to their ministries – including pastors, ministry leaders or anyone involved in teaching – will greatly benefit from CTC’s BTS. Breakfast is always provided alongside CTC:BTS and is included in the registration fee. Come have breakfast with us before the session starts and meet fellow believers from other churches.

    Building Healthy Churches (BHC)

If we are to grow as Christians in the knowledge of our Lord and the life that He has called us to live, we need to appreciate Biblical Theology and apply it to our ministries and churches in a contextually appropriate way.

CTC culminates with the Building Healthy Churches (BHC) talk and Q&A session, where Dr. Dempster will bring together all we have learnt into practical application as we explore how the reality of God’s kingdom should shape our lives, churches, and ministries.

    Prelude and Postlude

This year’s CTC is bookended by a Prelude and a Postlude gathering hosted by our brothers and sisters at Christ Evangelical Reformed Church. We (and they) welcome you to fellowship with other saints and worship God together on those two Sundays, where Dr. Dempster will be preaching a passage of Scripture with a biblical theological framework.

The Prelude will set the tone and help you anticipate what will be covered during the conference, whereas the Postlude will pull together all that we have learned throughout the week.

We invite you to join us for our 14th CTC conference as we press on with our mission to unlock Christ’s wisdom for His churches in Malaysia!
