The Gospel and Authority
16-18 Jan 2025

#FWCGospelAndAuthority
  • Intro

God wants us to know Him for who He is. But how do we do so? That’s what FWC 2025: The Gospel and Authority will be tackling.

Of course, this begins with understanding God's Word, but it also requires us to critically assess the lenses through which we read and apply His Word. While Holy Scripture stands supreme as God’s revealed Word, other sources of authority – whether we're aware of it or not – compete and affect how we interpret and apply biblical truths. If we do not have clarity about this, we risk being deceived.

In today’s world, where the truth of Scripture is constantly besieged by culture, it’s vital for Christians to anchor themselves with a robust understanding of biblical authority. This is not just an intellectual exercise—it is a spiritual necessity for growing in faith, guarding against error, and faithfully proclaiming the gospel in every sphere of life.

As fellow workers in Christ, we are called to engage and wrestle with this issue thoughtfully as we seek to glorify God in our understanding and application of His Word. At FWC 2025, we will be learning, discussing, and growing our commitment to the gospel as the supreme authority over all things together. Will you join us?
